A small group of serving and retired firefighters, who also fly gliders, will complete a 75 mile (125km) task in August to commemorate the creation of the Benevolent Fund (now Firefighters Charity) in 1943, during the blitz of WWII. I'm inspired by the work of The Fire Fighters Charity and the selfless dedication of our fire services community across the UK, so I want to support them by raising money as part of my participation in #My75Miles. Please help me to help them - and in so doing help UK fire fighters affected by injury, illness or psychological trauma - by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about The Fire Fighters Charity, the greater its impact and the more members of the fire services community it can support, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
